Team Michigan and Team Illinois opened the day with a 116-109 win for Team Michigan. Michigan Mr. Basketball Pierre Brooks II more than lived up to his billing with 28 points as the Game MVP to help Michigan advance to the championship game.
Team Indiana was able to overcome a spirited Team Wisconsin team 115-100. Indiana lead at halftime 53-52 so Wisconsin gave them a big scare. Gus Etchison lead Team Indiana with 27 points and 6 assists to take the Game MVP honors. JR Koneiczny chipped in 24 for Team Indiana. Don McHenry turned in one of the best performances of the tournament with 37 points int the loss followed by Tre Valeriano with 20 and Wisconsin-Green Bay signee Kamari McGee with 17.
The Unsigned Senior Game had some great performances on both sides with the Black team taking the 116-109 win. Sean Black lead the Black team with 30 points and 7 rebounds. DaMeritz was not to be outdone individually and cooked for 50 points and 19 rebounds. Chicago product Phil Berryhill, Jr. also had a really solid day with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Arsenal Tech guard Isaiah Lockard chipped in 14 points for the White team.
