The girls were not to be outdone at Prep Ball Stars EPO as 36 girls showed plenty of talent and ability during the 3-week league and at the showcase game at the Indiana State Fair.  Here are the Top 10 scorers from the event:

Riley Schellhammer (Fishers) – Fishers isn’t just loading up on the boys side but also has talent on the girls team also.  Schellhammer (pictures on cover) is a natural shooter and finished with a 22.7 average at EPO.  She also won the 3-point contest at the Indiana State Fair.

Maya Makalusky (Hamilton Southeastern) – the Indiana commit is one of the favorites this year for the Miss Basketball award and showcased a consistent stroke throughout EPO.  She also used her 6’2″ frame to go inside for buckets.

Kennedy Holman (Hamilton Southeastern) – HSE will make for a tough opponent with both Makalusky and Holman in the mix.  Holman, a junior, showed plenty of quickness and athleticism on her way to an 18.6 average at EPO.

Rylee Canaan (Evansville Reitz) – Canaan can really shoot it and uses it as a key weapon on her way to 4th in the league in scoring at 18.3 points per game.

Ke’adriah Butler (Lawrence North) 17.5 points

McKenzie Koch (Eastern Hancock) 16.3 points

Butler (2026) and Koch (2027) were two of the top performers throughout EPO, but the highlight for them both was teaming up outside at the Indiana State Fair and sharing co-MVP honors during the showcase game.

Katie Reed (Washington) 15.8 points

Reed, a junior,  is a winner and is an aggressive player who not just makes plays offensively but has the total package.

Laila Abdurraqib (Lawrence Central) 14.7 points

Abdurraqib is fearless and just plays hard.  The Lady Bears state champion stood out in the Top 10 and was relentless for all of her games in the league and at the Indiana State Fair showcase game.

Jade Wilson (Cathedral) 14.3 points

Wilson has some D2 offers to pick from but if she plays the way she did at EPO for her senior campaign, those offers may go up one more notch.  Athletic guard who can get to the rim and create her own shot.

Payton Duvall (Franklin Central) 13.2 points

Duvall has nice size and length and also sees the floor well.  She was part of the championship team during Week 3 of EPO.
