This was the 3rd straight time that the two states have met in the title game with Team Indiana taking the last two.  “This group really came together and played hard”, said Director Of Basketball Operations/Head Coach Omar Dillard.

In the semi-final games, Team Michigan edged Team Wisconsin in overtime 119-116 behind a triple double by Chansey Willis, Jr. (25 points, 10 rebounds and 16 assists).  Learn Davis led Wisconsin with 31 points.  Team Indiana cruised to a 115-104  win over Team Illinois with Indiana commit CJ Gunn leading the way with 33 points.

There was also an Unsigned Senior Game, presented by Indiana Minority Health Coalition.  Juwan Maxey was named MVP with 31 points.  The consolation game was won by Team Wisconsin in overtime over Team Illinois.  Learic Davis was named MVP.

For the 4 games, two were decided in overtime and the other two games decided by 11 and 10 points, respectively.  “These players represented their states very well, and it was really competitive the whole day”, said Sports Ventures International CEO Tony Leach, owner of Prep Ball Stars and SVI Sportswear.
