Team Teague Evans Is #1 With A Bullet!

High School Buzz, Hoops Buzz

Team Teague Evans left no doubt in the month of July that they were the #1 team in the nation for the class of 2027.  They started the month by winning the coveted Jr. Peach Jam tournament with wins over Top 5 team CP3 and G1 Elite.  They then closed the month by winning the Middle Elite National Championship.  The Top 8 teams were invited, and Team Teague got the last invite.

“Even after we have been winning and beating top teams, they still didn’t have respect for us”, said head coach Brandon Evans.  Most of the Teague team hails from Anderson, Indiana.  They take pride in that.

Teague made the most of their invite and won the whole thing with a big win over Edmond Sumner Elite for the second time at the event.  They closed the tournament with a 45-42 win over Team Takeover to hoist the big trophy.  Teague is led by Jahari Miller, a 6’0″ guard, who has all the tools to be a top player in the future.  But they have several player who look like college scholarship players down the line.

Keep a lookout for this team in the future!
